The Syng Cell Alpha powered speaker stands out with its spherical design, but it's also outstanding at filling a room with 360-degree sound, plus it pumps out accurate, satisfyingly deep bass.

We're all used to the typical size and shape of loudspeakers — rectangular boxes containing round drivers. The Syng Cell Alpha doesn't look like that at all, and it's designed quite differently from the norm. It's the shape of a ball with the top and bottom cut off, and instead of producing more directional sound aimed at a listening position, it puts out an all-encompassing, almost 3D sound.

This 360-degree sound field is called "triphonic audio," which envelops an entire room in sound. Three different midrange/tweeter arrays fling sound in all directions, while two woofers sit on the top and bottom, firing in a force-canceling manner to provide seriously deep bass.

Best of all, you get total control over the sound envelope through the Syng Space app. It lets you visualize your space and control the sound field. You can even use the app to control multiple Syng Cell Alpha speakers in a multi-room setup.
