Miller Harris Lost is similar to the Hermes, and lasts quite well. Gris Charnel is a perfect fragrance for me, too.

Could you do a comparison/similar vibes video? Say Xerjoff Shunkoin to Gris Charnel (they smell same to me yet no one mentions that), Roja Elixir to PDM Meliora or Delina, popular niche to less popular niche…There’s not enough ‘similar/but different’ perfumes videos. If someone likes particular vibes what else can they try, etc… 👍 Thanks for all your great vids so far!

Gris Charnel is truly a perfect signature scent for the cold weather. I'm a guy and I enjoy wearing it as well 🙂

I have been loving that Hermès one for sooo long, it is so classy! If only it lasted more in my skin! Is there one perfum like it more long lasting? Would be my perfect scent

If you love rhubarb, as I do, you should also try Aèdes Signature. Also very crisp and my favorite rhubarb fragrance. I don’t find that I need to reapply it very much. I’m excited to try the Kayali Sweet Pepper now.

I for one just want videos on great fragrances without any qualifiers such as “the only 5 you need” because I enjoy collecting and I enjoy my large collection:-).
Although I have owned Gris Charnel for a long time, there is something that always irritates me about it- the cardamom or sandalwood underneath the smooth part.. However I have been complimented on it..

Totally agree with you on Gris Charnel. It really lives up to the hype. Kayali's 'Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper' is great for people who love Mancera's 'Roses Vanille' but want the sugar to be 6 lumps, not 3. I love your channel, you have great taste (even when it clashes with my own, I can recognise a certain confidence and aesthetic sophistication which I really enjoy and respect) and you describe things so well. PS= One of Etat L'ibre L'Orange's best fragrances was 'Bijou Romantique', I wonder if anybody knows if it's been permanently discontinued? What a silly decision, tsk tsk tsk. Very hard to dupe, it's got a certain something about it, beautifully balanced composition. Easy to wear, comforting but striking too. Too bad I ruined it for myself by wearing it to a funeral. It'll take some time to come back to it afresh but I think it'll be worth the determined psychological conditioning as it really is lovely. If it's discontinued, I'm going to be really annoyed. Some of these sweet dusty masculine-leaning unisex woody fragrances just can't get it quite right for my taste, but this is a good everyday easy wear. I love hearing what beloved fragrances other people have totally ruined for themselves due to powerful memories and connotations interfering with the emotional context of their olfactory enjoyment. Other lactonic sweet woody fragrances which are lovely are Milky Musk by Parle Moi, Shunkoin by Xerjoff, Herod by Parfum de Marly, Pavillion Rouge by Jovoy and Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed which is more of a musky salty gourmand but I wear it when in the 'woody milky sweet' frame of mind. Same goes for Oud Bouquet by Maison Lancome. Woods are handled really well by Japanese perfumers, with Di Ser as a standout house when it comes to entirely unexpected final blends; you can tell NOTHING about how their fragrances smell just by reading their note list/ingredient pyramid. It'll stun you every time. Same goes for Parfum Satori. Suiren and Mother Road 66= why doesn't anybody talk about these hidden gems?! Love your channel!! 🤩
