What about they told you to convert it to 8 bit, when they give you a negative number

2's comp -> 1's comp +1, so +1 is + 1 in binary form or change the MSL of 1's comp to 1

why does the signed bit change?
isn’t it 1 bcz the no. is negative and 0 if positive? If that’s the case, then why would you change the sign bit in 1’s complement when it’s a 0 cuz the no. is positive?
