That version is the ultimate for me! I wish I knew what she does in the "to yooou", besides the distortion, I think she makes some scale/note change that makes it SO INTENSE! Almost like out of tune, but in the right way! Sinead is GENIOUS!

Have a fond memory attached to this song. One night many years ago, I was just shopping in a grocery store like any other regular excursion. I’ve long ago accepted how likely it is to hear middle-of-the-road pop fodder in stores everywhere. But that night, this tune came on over the PA in there. And that was really something to me, to hear a beautiful ballad amidst all the other disposable tracks.
