I have a 2022 GT2 AWD. I have owned many cool BMWs, never got attached to a single one the way this car pulls you in. It is truly a unicorn vehicle, it’s gifts not measurable by specs in comparisons. It has a sexiness, a languidity that is compelling. Hugely practical. A perfect, classic GT interior layout, perfect controls and not missing a single modern option. Easy, inexpensive to maintain with great warranty. A true forever car, I feel lucky to have it.

At 6:05 you mention the lane assist; turn that off. The car will feel completely different. I have an 2023 Hyundai i30 N Line and the features are all the same. When I first drove the car I thought something was wrong with me. The vehicle over corrects and is actually very poor at detecting things when lots of shadows and bends are involved. As you mention, you can feel it pulling you back to what it thinks is the centre, but that centre changes a lot. Turn all vehicle assists off (expect traction control) and go for another spin.

The main downfall of the Stinger was for sure the competition it was up against, bmw b58 which is a monster how easy they make power and audi 3.0t a tried and true engine. the design is aggressive and unique and they stand out more since you really dont see them everywhere like audi's and bmw's definitely a underrated car. just kinda hard to beat out a m340i

I’d lowkey get a Kia stinger the only thing is I wanna learn manual, and that don’t come in manual that’s literally like the only thing, I’ve already been driving for like 4yrs now so I got a little bit of experience just in automatics tho
