Uncaged was pretty wild last month, I won't lie! Almost as good as August, but not quite. We got some really good releases last month, but we also got a few duds (at least to me they are). Here's to hoping I get my perfect month on BOTH sides of the spectrum

Finally, someone who likes Life & Death as much as me! Stonebanks best release this year imo, and his best since probably What's Going Down.

i don't listen to Monstercat lately. I'm more into Hardcore and anything that has to do with heavy Drumstep except Monstercat. I also listen to A TON of Sven Selka's music (the real name of Code:Pandorum, he was also in the duo called Static:Reset). That explains why i have stopped giving takes in the latest period. (i also dont listen to Grabbitz often)

10. Violence (I don't care for this, much like most of its EP.)
9. Life & Death (hey, Stonebank made electro that I actually like. that's rare.)
8. Galactic Trumpet (I kinda figured that Julian's next song would be titled Galactic Trumpet, it hints at it at the end of Overcome. it's a good track.)
7. The Sound (Aero Chord has finally brought back his old style. even if it's just for one EP, I'm super happy that he did.)
6. Heat Wave (Tony Romera made a song that I... like? that's weird. do I have the right script? ok, well, this is good I guess.)
5. Oblivion (REAPER has made two very impressive songs so far, and I honestly think that he can do more.)
4. Exterminate (this is really damn good)
3. Watch Yo Back (finally some more good slushii  brostep. I didn't really care for either of his Instinct releases since he's been back.)
2. Tribe 303 (A E R O   C H O R D   M A D E   P S Y. that is all.)
1. Assemble (tbh I didn't like the start-stop drop at first. but that changed after a few days, and it makes me want more from Xilent and Justin OH.)

10.)Galatic Trumpet-->Not JC's best by a long shot, but not his worst. It's in sort of a middle area. The off-drops are good, but the drops themselves are sort of bland.(3.0/5.0)

9.)The Sound-->It's good. (4.0/5.0)

8.)Exterminate-->Still a good song from PBN. Although that weird yodeling just ruins the flow.(4.0/5.0)

7.)Watch Yo Back-->Slushii is really hit or miss when it comes to hard songs, and this is in the middle. While I think the drops are good, they are really high-pitched and slow, which doesn't align with the song at all imo. Still enjoyable.(4.0/5.0)

6.)Tribe 303-->We need more Aero Chord psytrance in this world because that was glorious(4.5/5.0)

5.)Heat Wave--->I still think St. Tropez and I Can't are better, but this is still fun and enjoyable to listen to. It has a bombastic beat, nice set-up, and good off-sections(4.5/5.0)

4.)Oblivion-->REAPER did really good with SawTooth, but this is on a whole nother level. I really hope this EP lives up to the two songs he's put out.(5.0/5.0)

3.)Life & Death-->ELECTRO STONEBANK WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THE PAST 4 YEARS!!!(5.0/5.0)

2.)Violence-->Eptic needs to do more Midtempo shit. That second drop is stellar and one of the best midtempo drops I've heard.(5.0/5.0)

1.)ASSEMBLE-->Never in my life would I think Xilent be able to 1-up most of the songs(except for one) on "We Are Dust" but holy shit this SLAPS!! The intro, the drops themselves, and the buildup are outstanding and done so well. I'm calling it now that this will be my #1 for Uncaged Vol.8.(5.0/5.0)

Beat Instinct by miles.

10. Tiringly boring
9. On the contrary I wish he'd stay with this style a bit more
8. In short, No.
7. I'm half for it and half against it, really
6. Banger. Such a nice return to form.
5. The other Banger, love the experimentation
4. Kind of a letdown, this collab seems kinda tame for Justin & Xilent tbh.
3. God I'm ready for the fucking EP, this is amazing
2. _doot doot_
1. When won't I be ready for Stonebank Electro?

10. Love this one but you do you
9. Heh, this is probably my favorite from him so far. Still not amazing, but I'll take it over any of his past releases.
8. Not the best he's ever made or will make, but it's a pretty solid song.
7. My least favorite off the EP, but it's not half bad!
6. yep, getting big Surface vibes from this
5. P S Y T R A P
4. This was just about certain to underwhelm most people, but it's a freaking banger nonetheless.
3. reepair is this year's dnb god (The misspelled name is from a joke I made on the Monstercat subreddit)
2. p quirky
1. Stonebank bass house good

This month has been a mixed bag. Some really good songs and some really meh songs for both uncaged and instinct. And there’s stuff in the middle too.

10. Watch Yo Back (WHEN YOU’RE IN THE STREETS YOU BETTER WATCH WATCH WATCH YO BACK BWHDHHSJSSJ; that’s how I’d describe it, nice melodic sections, hype vocal samples, and then a trash drop)
9. Exterminate (I don’t really enjoy this)
8. Galactic Trumpet (this is basically Space Flute but bass)
7. Violence (I’m neutral on this)
6. Tribe 303 (I’m not that big fan of psytrance so it actually weakened the song for me)
5. Oblivion (my favorite part is that melodic 2nd drop, the rest of the song is kinda lacking, the drops are too quiet compared to the off-drops; I listened to the EP and this is in top 3 while Sawtooth tops over other songs, oof)
4. The Sound (probably my favorite AC song since I don’t like most of his songs)
3. Assemble (it could’ve been so much better, it’s really short and not really complex, I like the story of the city of OZ though; maybe they could've combined both drops into one and play them twice)
2. Heat Wave (this bass is some great stuff, especially on headphones, my favorite Tony Romera track, better than Habstrakt's stuff)
1. Life & Death (my favorite Stonebank release this year, though it’s not as good as last year’s What Are You Waiting For, but better than What's Going Down)
