RODE....making the complicated tasks simple. They just work! Love the Podmic. Love the SM7b...but for the price, and my voice, I prefer the Sure MV7x. My voice just sounds better through the MV7x with it's frequency response compared to the Podmic.

The pod mic does sound more broadcast with depth but I also hear your P Pop more than when you were on the Shure.

SM7B smooth, Rode mic - more bright and sibilant. Must have eq'd circuit boost at 3K

The SM7B for what I do... but, can't the Rode EQ to actually add dark tones, to sound like the SM7B?

Like i know all these functions can be an app on software but having physical buttons and sliders is so cool. I think it might be a psychology thing. Like you're more inclined to keep talking with something physical in front of you. This would explain why røde made that plastic stick microphone stick for their wireless microphone lineup.

The Sennheiser MD 421 is better than the Shure SM7B and RE20. But podcasting, for some reason, elevated the Shure.

I just got the rode and I'm blown away! The sm7b isnt worth it compared to the podmic. I was using a shotgun mic to avoid having a mic visible on screen but i was clearly sacrificing audio quality.

I have 2 NT1 Rode mics along with the RodeCaster Duo. When I record for podcast we have a host and a guest. Only one mic (host mic) is recording. Why is the second mic not recording ? Please help. Thank you.

Shure all they way. I am not a fan of them I do like how sennheisers are EQed but in this case Shure mic. It sounds a lot smoother and you don't hear the de-noise working in the background of it.
