TRI-ERGON PROCESS

The system used a photoelectric recording
method and a non-standard film size (42mm)
which incorporated the sound track
with stock 35mm film.

To record Sound, Tri-Ergon used a special
form of microphone without mechanical
moving parts (Cathodophone).

They used a special electric discharge tube
for variable density film recording.
