Some say it's informative, some say toxic, regardless the microblogging platform has grown and developed over the past 15 years to capture the attention of hundred of millions of people, literally - with over 206M monetisable DAU and a market cap of 52B.

Twitter has become a tool that enables communication, sharing and breaking news, expressing opinions but their evolution has not been linear, instead, the story is described as one of power, friendship, money and betrayal.
