She's absolutely right though. F1 is extremely physical due to the G forces they sustain. We've tried female drivers in F1 before. If one comes along where they're good enough for the sport then give them a shot but I would much rather grow the W series so that women have a fair playing field. No, she didn't have 'victories', she a victory at a race in Japan when the majority of the top of the grid were racing at Sebring that weekend. Not to diss on her, she was a just below average driver and not as horrible as many NASCAR fans claim but no where as good as she wants to believe she was. The length of her career and the top teams she got to drive for was about marketing not her talent and skill. I am very much in favor of women in racing but honestly had Danica been a man she'd of had a fairly short and quickly forgotten career. She's no Michèle Mouton.

I'd still give her one. She's absolutely right on the money with the reality of motorsport. How many women do you see plumbing, landscaping, bricklaying etc by themselves, no blokes helping? I'm yet to see one.

So a completely feminine woman with actual racing and many other achievement, gives her view and suddenly people have comments that have nothing to do with her role. What BS. On the Danny R comments, she is way off the mark full stop as she like most pundits don't get the actual second driver in the RB car. It's a support role for a consistent driver that can support the lead driver and also add proper feedback to the engineers to assist with development. Look at the growth and development of the Alpha car thanks for the most part because of Daniel's ability to provide proper feedback about the set up and the updates allowing the car to reach it's potential. Even Yuki has mentioned how much Daniel's input has helped in those areas. I admire Danica not as a driver but as achiever and her intelligence in general. I think she bring a different dynamic to the commentary team.

I dont't share the same views in many areas, however I like her approach to always strive for to be best version of herself and improve, based on what she feels is the right way for her. Having no women in the sport is because its a multi billion dollar business. There is without a doubt women currently racing in other categories who could challenge for wins in F1 but they dont bring the big bucks with them. Its the same reason lots of male drivers haven't had the opportunity. It's a tough one because you cant just give them a seat because they're a woman but at the same time they wont get sponsored if companies dont see what they're actually capable of
