I just played this for the first time and my bf was in earshot and he was like “what’s that that’s great”. He really likes the opening and the verse - he says it’s like Ginger Root which is high praise. The easiest and quickest way for me to describe you so he knew who you were was “the guy who has that Mad song that you liked”. For me, I really like the pre-chorus and that rhythmic delivery plus the lyric “Birds chirp they say that we’re not fine” is so good. Such a great way to re-phrase that in an interesting way.

Who you are as an artist when it’s just you and what you want to express and show us makes some seriously good stuff.
