It’s almost like the people at the studio don’t remember that Blade trilogy was hard R, graphic, bloody horror movies and the first two were major successes, they even predated the highly successful x men and Spider-Man movies. Oh, another thing, Blade was the first superhero movies also to Star a black actor, sorry Chadwick.

In actuality when he was studying up the character for that first movie, he became a deadpool fan, and actually approached the director about how it was being done wrong. The director threatened to take the part away from him, and apparently the person in charge of the studio of that time hated the character. It wasn't until the footage was leaked, and Studio head was changed to someone else, that the deadpool movie was green let.
