Good video, well done.
Personally I reccomended two excellent vignerons: Gravner (Ribolla Gialla) and Bressan (Pignolo) - ...wines in the Olimpo!

Great video, love the addition of franciacorta here, perhaps one of the best kept secrets of italy. I personally am in love with the Saten style. Would also like to ring the bell for Amarone wines, so delicious with stews and such. Have 3 of the mentioned wines in my celler, the barbaresco 2019, the Massolino 2019 and the le volte 2018.

Another great video. Makes me realize I need to branch out more. I get too focused on Sangiovese and need to do a side by side of many regions. Your videos are excellent in describing the notes, now I just need to taste them!

That's what happens when you don't pay for your shirt, they don't remove the watermarks.

Greetings from Brazil! Another excellent video.
Found Insoglio for 260 BRL, equivalent to 50 dollars. Maybe i will give it a try.

Italy is rapidly becoming a joint favourite wine country - it has always been my favorite country to visit - but I need to get to grips with its white wines.
Rizzi is a good producer at reasonable prices for both Barbaresco and Langhe Nebbiolo, imho. Agree about Produttori del Barbaresco and Massolino Barolo.
The Val di Suga 2015 Brunello, of which I have five remaining bottles, was my joint wine of the year in 2023 (Massolino, 2011 Barolo was the other).
Although I have a half-case of Volpaia 2019 put away, I couldn't resist adding a half-bottle as part of a recently ordered mixed case, just to get a sneak preview later this year.
French for me this weekend, though, with a 2016 Gigondas tonight and a 2014 Pouilly Fuisse tomorrow.
Thanks again for another enjoyable video.

Yes, I gave up buying both Ornellaia and Sassicaia a few years ago and now am a frequent buyer of Grattamacco and also Saffredi, Le Pupille.

Not on this video but I'm looking forward to the 2018 Guado al Tasso Il Bruciato with a large rib-eye steak this evening. My first bottle of a half case just this week retrieved from storage with BBR in the UK so hoping it's a winner.

There’s such incredible diversity of styles and prices, I think I’d choose Italy if I could only enjoy wine from one country for the rest of my life.

Enjoyed the 2015 il Poggione reserva yesterday, highly enjoyable, hard to beat at that price point.

Aglianico is another great Italian wine. TJ’s has a cheap $6 version that is a great introduction to this grape to decide if you like it. A $20 version is outstanding.

That white and brut sound very interesting. I usually get into the Moscato Asti this time of year with the summer heat. Any suggestions on Moscato Asti labels to look for?
