And for those who are unaware, the dead Batman who is a black lantern isn't even the real Batman. Prior to this, during Infinite Crisis, Darkseid hit Batman with his Omega Beams. He was presumed dead as there were charred remains in a destroyed Batsuit. It was later revealed that Batman got sent back in time from the Omega Beams and that the corpse was actually a copy of him that the Omega Beams made(for whatever reason). This clone was the Black Lantern Batman and the Justice League time traveled to rescue Bruce while Nightwing was the current Batman, and Real Bruce became the White Lantern Batman.
