All Permanent Bonuses (And How to Get Them) in Baldur's Gate 3

Permanent Bonuses can be extremely helpful in Baldur's Gate 3, but the game doesn't do much in terms of helping the player know how to get them. Here are all Permanent Bonuses in Baldur's Gate 3 and how you can add them to your build.

For the mirror of loss it's also possible to get a +1 bonus to charisma on top of the +2 to any stat. Requires a bit of save scumming as you need a particular memory to show up in the beginning

If you buy a statue of yourself in the circus in Act 3, you get blessed permanently.

1:15 the dialog options are in no way connected to wearing absolute bonus gear. It's the mark on your hand that opens up the extra dialog.
5:19 do NOT consume it. Open your mind to it instead. If you do this you still have the astral tadpole and can convince other party members to open their minds. Everybody gets free no cast fly all day every day. Forget ever jumping again because now you can fly. It also gives them some free 1st tier illithid powers so dont spend any tadpoles on companions until after getting the astral tadpole.

For ethels hair, you dont need to bring her below 10hp, ive had it trigger under 45. she was at 41 health when it happened, so if you are nervous just get her low and wait for her turn

You can get Booal's blessing without sacrificing a companion. First, ungroup your party and send your sneakiest pick pock off to the side. Next start the dialogue with your most persuasive character. While the dialogue is open, before you choose any dialogue options, switch to your sneak character(button in the bottom left). Pickpocket the fish with the booal's tongue sickle. Take the sickle.

Now persuade Booal that you have so much blood to spill over your whole life. Since the sickle has been stolen, Booal will bless your whole party.

Maybe mention when all characters can get the bonus. The mirror of loss for instance.

You can also gain Shovel permanently as a Draconic Sorcerer if you do the dialogue properly and then talk to Shovel inside of the room past the magic mirror.

For the Necromancy of Thay, you also gain Forbidden Knowledge permanent buff after making the saves

Was the extra radiant damage by solving the puzzle at the monastery permanent? I honestly don't remember.

when you say you can lose volos eye on death when and how? ive wondered about losing buffs when thinking of killing for Booal but im always put off because i was told i would lose it if i died which i mean, i will soo how does it work?

Loviathar’s Love is not permanent and is removed on death.
