Solo Pantheon Raid Boss #1 - Golgoroth (Atraks Sovereign) [Destiny 2]

Destiny 2 Season of the Wish - Solo Pantheon Raid Boss Golgoroth / Solo Golgoroth Pantheon Atraks Sovereign Version. Just a quick video showing a solo of the first raid boss in the newly added Pantheon mode. Details below.

There's genuinely nothing special about this, as it's only the first boss, is more or less the same as normal mode Golgoroth, but you have a -5 power level and do a little less damage. I'd done master already this season, so this was a lot easier than that, even with the sloppy play here. The only noticeable difference for the Pantheon solo is that you don't seem to get the Unstable Light, so you miss out a little bit of damage each phase. That's easily made up for anyway. The only benefit to doing this single boss is that you can repeatedly get some raid loot, but other than that as an overall challenge it's fairly pointless.

The entire Pantheon seems soloable, with Solo Pantheon Caretaker probably being the biggest hurdle, because the raid mods no longer work. That's up there as my least enjoyable encounter prior to the Pantheon version, so I'm not too bothered about grinding for it right now. I might go back for it later in the week though. Solo Pantheon Explicator and Solo Pantheon Atraks seem essentially the same, so they'll be quite straight forward after Caretaker.

I also thought there was a checkpoint system of sorts, as when I loaded in to Golg last night and went back out there was a checkpoint icon. But after doing this there was no checkpoint for Caretaker, and it sent me back to the start. So I'd need to have loadouts set up for all 4 bosses in a row. Unless there's something I'm missing, who knows.

Other than that, I think it's a nice mode added to the game. I'm not going to bother doing a "solo x Panthoen boss with -10, -15, -20" version. This is just a one off, easy enough video. The only other videos I'd post are for this week, as next week it adds Oryx which is currently impossible to solo, meaning going for the entire solo is pointless after that.
