Im 70 now but when this song came out in 1976 I was into skydiving and this song will always remind me of those glorious days of jumping out of airplanes when I had my whole life in front of me. I was a lucky man and it was more than a feeling.

Life goes fast. If you are young and listening to this. Try to not take things too hard, go with the flow, but understand that every day is very valuable. One day you're 18... and next thing you know, you're 50.

When your young, you enjoy the song. When you're old, you understand the lyrics.

My youngest brother passed away at 13 almost a decade ago and this was his favorite song. It’s taken this long to listen to it without breaking down into tears. I’m still tearing up, even writing this, but I’m not wailing. Love you brother ❤️

That last ‘she slipped awayyyy’ with the wailing guitar in the background is one of those indescribable moments, like a lightning bolt to my entire soul.

One of the greatest songs every made. I always tell people, if you are ever feeling down, play this song (studio version) really, really LOUD. I guarantee you will feel better by the time the song ends.

Brad Delp was one of the greatest voices in the history of rock, and Tom Scholz is a musical genius as a songwriter and musician, yet Boston is not in the hall of fame. Inexcusible.

I’m a kid at 61, but this song defined my teens and my own Mary Ann in ‘76/77. I’ve played this a million times and it never gets old.

I'm 59 years old. This was the first album I ever bought (and still have). I bet I have listened to this song at least a thousand times in my life. It never gets old. This is truly one of the greatest songs to ever be recorded or play on the radio.

1976.... graduated from high school, bought my first car and this is the first album I played in my 8-track... I blew two sets of 6x9 Jensen speakers in the that car playing Boston at full volume to hear it over the sounds of my dual Thrush exhaust on my Ford Torino! What a great time to grow up to real music like Boston. Takes me back every time I hear it!

I was 18 years old at Children's Hospital in Boston having back surgery for scoliosis. I played sports and my doctor who was the Red Soxs doctor repaired my back. My roommate who was on his way to be an Olympian lost his leg. He would play this song over and over. We would sing along and it got us through. This song means so much to me years later. Thank you Boston, Doctor Pappas and staff at the hospital.😂
