SOLVING THE KEY PUZZLE

Today we're attempting to solve the Hanayama Key puzzle.

The Key puzzle is actually the last of the regular Hanayama puzzles I have left to solve!

I said when I solved Key 2 that I wouldn't solve Key because it's pretty much the same puzzle but it wouldn't be right to leave a puzzle out of the collection.

This is also going to be the last time I place a puzzle on my leaderboard. It's been a good 2 years but it's time has come to an end.

The aim of the Key puzzle is to disentangle the two keys then reassemble them back to their original position.

First of all, congrats on completing this set. Yours are the best and clearest Hanayama solve videos I've found and these videos are a great accomplishment. As for the Keys, #2 also added that really nice red herring of the little knob sticking out on the key part that enables you to go in the wrong direction at the beginning. The cleverest Hanayamas often have some sort of wrong path that *feels* right. Even though Key 2 is still a pretty easy puzzle by H standards it remains one of my favorites because you can hand it to almost anyone and it's accessible and a beautiful design with typically impressive tolerances.

I don't know if I'm gonna buy this one, even for the sake of completion... It's just... A worse version of Key II.

Please stop saying 'PEACE' at the end of every video, you're a bright lad & doing that for me (imo) devalues your videos & does make me cringe when I see it, you're far better than that as a YouTuber & looking forward to doing other puzzles you need to grow! But keep going Ross!👍
