25 Dragon Ball Fan Theories That Were Confirmed To Be True

There is no shortage of Dragon Ball fan theories out there and some of them are just crazy enough to be true. Fans have been hoping Broly would be added to the official canon for so long and it finally happened when the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly came out. Although we were ecstatic to have him finally introduced to the Dragon Ball universe we also couldn’t help but be excited about several predictions which came true. We had a feeling the initial conflict between Goku and Broly would be changed for the movie, and that Goku and Vegeta would be forced to turn into Gogeta in order to save the day. We’ll also talk about some less than cheerful predictions which were later confirmed including some weird facts about Goku’s relationship with Chi-Chi and what kind of hero he really is.

Some of these theories have been confirmed as Dragon Ball progresses, including some facts about the Potara earrings. While others have been revealed by series creator Akira Toriyama himself. We’ll let you know who one of his least favorite characters is and why he’s so determined to torture him.

That Goku doesnt fight to save others and the world is kinda wrong tho. I mean yes in DBSuper it seems like it but when we look back:
-Frieza
He fought Frieza to save his friends and avenge Krillin. He didnt fight Frieza just because he was strong in fact at the beginning he knew he has no chance and is dead meat.


-Cell
Goku knew he had no chance of winning and wanted Gohan to be the hero. On top of that he gave his life to save the planet from Cell going BOOM. Here again he didnt fight for the sake of fighting.


-Boo
Pretty much the same as Frieza. He wanted to save his friends and earth. He even gave up some time he had left on earth just to turn SSJ3 and buy some time.


So yes even tho Akira "kinda" confirmed Goku just fights for the sake of it its also confirmed that Akiras memory isnt the best and he himself satated that he had to rewatch episodes again and again so he doesnt make any huge mistakes in his own universe he created. So even tho Akira is the creator i wouldnt take his words as absolute facts because of his memory problems. Thats high likely also a reason why he is over it now. I also wouldnt like to extend a show any longer then it needs to be when i cant remember myself what i wrote 20 episodes ago.

Half of these aren't even theories! They are just observations. There was no theory, for example, that Pikkon was a hero so he got to keep his body and train with a Kai. He got to keep his body and trained with a Kai, so therefore, he was a hero, those were the rules established!

Dragon Ball is very loosely based on Journey to the West.

Goku is the Monkey King, from flying cloud to the staff to being a freakin monkey, besides that, the blue cat and the pig are the other two demons that join the monk Xuanzang on the Journey to the West.

That's why they look like animals.

Any explanation beyond that is just created for it all to make sense in the universe.

Number 13 was inaccurate. Goku saved the universes from being erased by Zeno using the Tournament of Power. Zeno was bored and planned to erase all the universes. Using the TOP, Goku gave them all a fighting chance at survival.
