■ VIDEO INFORMATION
As you guys already know, kpop idols perform on music shows in order to promote their songs. But, sometimes, changes have to be made in order for it to be deemed fit for television.

Some things to note:
- Not every broadcasting station have the same rules, cable stations are more flexible than non-cable
- There are instances where the same broadcasting station had the original dance but later requested a modified version due to the viewers reaction
- Sometimes Camera tricks are used in place of changing the dance.
- If you ever see the camera panned on a Kpop idols face they’re probably hiding a dance move. Instead of asking them to change it they’ll just not show it.
- Some performances are not listed because, while they were BΛNNED, they refused to change anything which meant they couldn’t promote on music shows.
- Some companies voluntarily change the dance.

The ironic part is they're blaming the girls, instead if blaming the actual cartographers and their label who sign off on the dances. But when they face backlash the labels act like they knew nothing about it until it was a problem.

Fun fact:
When I was watching Twice's Jihyo's behind-the-scenes for 'Feel Special', she said that the part where she shields her eyes were originally going to be stabbed on the heart, but she decided to change it to the 'shielding of eyes' dance. I then remembered that VIXX did smth like this and I'm shook! What if that 'heart-stab' dance made it to the final cut, and then the dance will be more impactful?

Yeah, most of these i don’t get, but there’s a few that make me uncomfortable for sure. Especially when you know some of them are barely dance moves, they’re practically just sex positions, created by grown men for teen girls to dance, and at that point it’s not even liberated female sexuality, just exploitation.
And the floor dance of Something was a callback to Adult Ceremony, which was about an underage girl finally reaching age and giving her virginity to an adult man who had been pursuing her, and the artist was barely 18 when it was performed, didn’t understand what she was singing about, and has expressed discomfort with it since. So I can see why people would be mad about that.

Well I do kinda agree most of these are inappropriate or sexually suggestive. Since the audiences obviously arent just adults but also underage kids. But I would like that music shows ban boy groups' choreos that have such moves too when they ban girl groups' ones, just to be fair.
