Ratt is one band I could talk about all day long. Concerns aside about Ratt's members wrangling over the name, I consider them my favorite pure glam metal band of all time. Bought the EP on cassette before they got signed to Atlantic, thanks to the song "U Got It", which got airplay on an Albuquerque radio station. And I do have Atlantic's CD re-issue of the EP; I'm holding on to that one for dear life.

And when "Out of the Cellar" came out, I absolutely dug it. It's my 4th favorite album of all time today, and I never get tired of hearing "Round and Round", my #7 song of all time. I'm going to hunt down either the RC reissues, or find the remastered 5-cd box set that has bonus tracks on each.

Love that collection! I’m missing more discs than I thought from Stephen’s side projects. Been a huge Ratt fan since the beginning. Fortunately have the debut EP on cd that I picked up years ago.

Love Ratt:) Thanks for sharing ! Juan Croucier released an album in the 90s called Liquid Sunday! Not that good! Juan played bass, guitar, vocals!

Probably my favorite band from the Glam/Metal era. Warren had a blues scale feel to his solos setting him apart from all the endless Van Halen clones.
FYI I saw Ratt on tour for their debut at a little club in Philadelphia maybe 30 people tops. They were so loud and you could tell they were going places. Round and Round had just hit the radio.

Cool video, informative too. I've always liked RATT. I had no idea Arcade released that many albums. I only own the first one. Man, Stephen Pearcy is truly a troubadour at heart, isn't he? It seems like he never stops writing, recording and releasing new material. I had know idea he was so prolific. Also, you inspired me to pull out my copy of Collage. I thought I owned it, but wasn't sure. It turns out I have the Japan version on the Victor label complete with obi, booklet and RATT logo stickers. CDs are more expensive in Japan so they normally get some cool bonuses in the form of bonus tracks or stickers or something.

You forgot Warren DeMartini's solo album and Juan Croucier's solo album Liquid Sunday (self titled) and Juan actually played guitar, bass and sang, his brother Rick played drums. Funny how everyone talks about Stephen... 🙄 Time to talk about the other guys too. Just my opinion.👍😎🤘
