I found a Bichon about 2 yrs old limping down the road. She was matted so badly she could hardly walk. Crawling with fleas and paw pads bleeding. She became my best friend and once she had me trained there was harmony. She was very obliging provided she was asked nicely with a please and a thank you. She obviously had a bad time in her youth and was intelligent enough to decide she was equal to any human being. I’ll never forget asking her what her name was or what name she would like. I suggested several names and she to which she just gave me a black stare. She had the ability to give what I called the black snake glare. I suggested the name Blondy and she loved it getting excited, standing up on back legs and arms around my neck. So Blondy it was. I could go on and on about this incredible soul incarnated into a little dogs body. I so much want to meet her on the other side.

When we got my Bichon Poo, he was a newborn puppy who was like two weeks old, now he's about 6 years old, almost 7. (human years.) And he's the cutest little boy I've ever seen.
