Young people do not have hearing deficit...or diction difficulties...and you think fast. None the less, I understood your video. I am trying to practice good pronunciation of the phonetic alphabet...at my 80 years of age, with false teeth and high frequency hearing loss (compensated by hearing aides). DUDE You totally rock ! You use the same antenna, the same microphone and other stuffs.... and even the same RTX Yaesu 450D I have. AWESOME mix in my opinion. Even with DSP off, this configuration sounds very clear and powerful ! Pretty cheap and performing shack. 73 from central Italy.

Ham radio is not complicated. most folks already know how to operate the radio by having passed the exam to get a licence. In fact most 9 year olds in the United kingdom can pass the licence to get on the radio after some training. Radio is not a complicated hobby and is open to everyone.

Poor operating techniques at best. What's with all the "Please copy"? Why are you repeating their report before closing out the QSO? They know their report, you don't need to repeat it. Forget the Please Copy, just give them the report.
