When I volunteered to repair computers, our mission was to make sure all of the staff had working computers.
Thank God for Johnson & Johnson for donating computers and printers.
Don't underestimate how far charity donations can go. Even though JJ computers were a little obsolete, they were still usable.

I have offered to teach an art and craft class at a dozen organizations (Boy and Girl Scouts to military bases). One city park and rec department requires a city business license to teach a free class. Then there is the frustration to be completely ignored. If you are not interested show the common courtesy of not wasting my time.
