Once upon a time, in the little town of Lensville, old Grandpa Jenkins sat on his porch, rocking gently back and forth in his wooden chair, sipping a glass of ice-cold lemonade. The sun was setting, casting golden hues on the horizon, while the scent of freshly cut grass filled the air. His loyal dog Bessie, a mix of wisdom and playfulness, lay at his feet, her tail thumping the wooden boards in rhythm with the creaking of the rocking chair.

Now, Grandpa Jenkins was quite the storyteller, and on this particular evening, he decided to regale an extraordinary tale, one that involved a peculiar comparison between the Sony ZV-E10, the Canon R50, and the Nikon Z30. His voice was like a lilting melody, a song of technology and wonder, as he spun his yarn under the indigo sky.

In the heart of Lensville, there lived a skinny old man, his skin tanned from years of sun exposure, dressed in nothing but cut-off blue khaki shorts. Each day, he could be seen yanking on the cord of his trusty lawn mower, the engine roaring to life with the tenacity of a hungry lion. The hum of the mower reverberated through the town, like the drone of bumblebees on a warm summer's day.

Now, this skinny old man was no ordinary gardener. He was a connoisseur of light, a scientist of shadows, and a philosopher of photons. As the sun dipped below the horizon, he set out on a quest to compare the lowlight performance of these three renowned cameras: the Sony, the Canon, and the Nikon.

Grandpa Jenkins paused for a moment, taking another sip of lemonade as he glanced at Bessie. Her fur seemed to shimmer like a cascade of molten gold, her eyes reflecting the knowledge of ages, the wisdom of countless lifetimes.

As the old man in the story ventured into the darkness, guided only by the faint glow of twilight, he conducted his test. With each camera, he captured the subtle hues of the night, the intricate dance of light and shadow playing across the landscape. The photons, those tiny quantum particles, behaved like minuscule acrobats, leaping and twisting with inexplicable grace.

In the distance, tractors plowed the fields, their engines a gentle purr in the crisp, clean air. The furrows they left behind were like lines of poetry etched into the earth, a testament to the tireless labor of the men and women who tended to the land.

The skinny old man marveled at the HDR PQ 10-bit on the Canon R50, as it revealed the hidden secrets of the night, painting a vivid tapestry of colors and textures. And yet, he knew that the lens selection was of paramount importance, for it was through the lens that the world was perceived and captured, like a moment frozen in time.

Grandpa Jenkins leaned back in his rocking chair, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Bessie yawned, her tongue curling like a pink ribbon, as if acknowledging the end of the tale. And with a contented sigh, old Grandpa Jenkins finished his story, leaving the audience to ponder the wonder of light and shadow, the magic of technology, and the beauty of a world captured through the eyes of a skinny old man in cut-off blue khaki shorts.

I have the Sony ZVE10 and I love it 🥰 It’s my favorite camera and I’m so glad I made the purchase. Your videos about this camera have really helped me out on how to use it. 😊👍🏼

your videos are the best, it's so annyoing the other youtubers who talks 20 minutes about a camera and don't do the main thing that is recording with the camera

Thanks, Mark for this video!!

I’ve given it to little Dougie overall; even without the faster lenses, though thought all worked well. Your new Panny worked well for this; though honestly I don’t see much of a difference in any camera you use in studio (so another kudo to little Dougie). Nicely done once again.

Don't take this the wrong way, but as long as you keep creating content, I hope the crisis never goes away.

After looking at the test footage, my per ideas who would work better at low light with less noise and correct skin color was Sony, saying that the Canon 10bit really impressed me. In my country the Sony is cheaper by nearly $180usd . I use Panasonic and fined the Sony's seem to be able to match the closes in color profile and grading.

Mark, when you said I am a good person because I've watched your video till the end, I don't know why, but it brought tears to my eyes. YOU are a good person for bringing us such a good content. Thank you very much!

So, open way for two others tests with that trio; autofocus and stabilization.
Nice talking as usual, thank you!

Lenses are even a problem for Nikon. You only have the Viltrox 13mm or just announced Sigma 16mm. For the price I really like my Z30. It's a very capable little camera, if you don't want to fiddle around with 10-bit, HDR and everything.
That said I really love, what the ZV-E10 brings and I might have a look into a used one 😂

im looking for a beginner camera to finally progress further than iphone photography, i take a lot of pictures but my main focus is skateboard filming and a lot of my adventures are at night, was heavily considering the R50 until i saw this video, the E10 dominated in low light and hearing that the R50 could be harder to find lenses for or would need adapters and you have to "make it work" instead of any lense just working on it, the E10 might be my final choice for first camera, thank you for this video especially the end, was still debating the R50(i like the look of it) even seeing how much better the E10 is in low light but the lense problem definetely has me thinking twice
