On the topic of the expedition rewards, I've been experimenting with the dye injector for the expedition's Grub Cocoon companion, so here's what I've found.

Base (None), Hypercluster, And Cake of the Lost= Purple Sac

Platinum&Haline Brain= Green Sac

Feline Liver= Orange Sac

Larval Core&Bromide Salt= Cyan Sac(Blue)

Fighting bugs usually is my weak point in NMS, as I always avoid in normal gameplay. This expedition forced me into every battle on every landing which gave me lots of hairy moments. Dying a lot during the gameplay, but I want to get the bug armour set motivate me to carry on. :D

There are a couple small changes i think that would make combat feel better, the ability to aim down sights, and a jetpack module that allows for quick strafing like the rocket jump but achieved by double tapping left or right to shoot ya to either side. I think the gunplay is serviceable but the feel and mobility is lacking.

Cool, but I really just want to know how the new mech parts function. As in, can I have both the hardframe stun cannon right arm and the liquidator flamethrower right arm on at the same time? And how’s the flamethrower look when firing anyhow?

So the new liquidator mech does it still have its own ai or do you have to drive it

I just finished it and got access to all the rewards but I can't figure out how to put the Liquidator armor on my Minotaur. I'm pretty sure I completed the optional quests to get the armor pieces too. Do I have to go to the back of the Anomaly and buy the unlocked parts with nanites or??
