Now I am ALL for women breastfeeding out in public. NO woman should ever be shamed for FEEDING HER BABY! Buuut, I also understand that some can feel uncomfortable doing so. In that case, this is the nursing cover I recommend!! Best one and under $10!

The worst part of nursing in public was the stares and comments. I got really into discreet nursing with a couple of my kids. It was nice because even without a cover, no one could tell I was nursing! 🤗 The baby that was more wiggly didn’t do as well with those techniques so I also have used a lot of different types of nursing covers… I love how stretchy yours is!

I was in my own home breastfeeding my daughter when a ‘friend’ told me to stop whipping my boob at. Mind you I always ask if people I’m close to are comfortable with my not using a cover (IN MY OWN HOME) and she had been cool with it before but I don’t think she realized how much I would be feeding my daughter. I was probably like 5 months postpartum. Needless to say, she’s not my friend anymore. Lmao the way people are so maliciously sexual and hateful towards ‘friends’ or ever strangers is crazy.

I believe there are women who want to cover their breast while feeding regardless of what other ppl think. I would NEVER want to nurse in public without a cover, it’s my body and it’s private to me. This has become such an issue of freedom and what not and while most of the women want their tits out and think it’s oppressive to feed otherwise, there is still a bunch of us who appreciate things like these covers.

I’m from Norway and it’s completely normal and accepted to breastfeed in public here. I think if your used to it happening around you it won’t be viewed in a sexual way.

I love nursing covers! I use them when I'm around friends with my baby or at church events because even though I'm a mama, i get super self conscious with other people seeing me breast feeding my son. While tons of people seem totally ok with nursing without a cover as I've seen other women do it and the men out here seem unbothered, for my own body I don't want others seeing me. It has nothing to do with the fear of being sexualized, i just like the extra privacy for me and my son if I don't have the option to nurse in a quiet empty place. If I'm in the mother's lounge i usually dont use it unless my son wants to nurse to sleep because it makes it dark enough for him to focus on nursing and sleep.

Society is so screwed up nowadays. It's ridiculous. No woman should feel ashamed and sexualized like they're doing something wrong by simply feeding their kids. Your baby needs to eat and every way to get your baby to eat, society is judging it. At this point, I'm going to ignore it bc I will never starve my baby bc of some ignorant judgy people

My kids needed complete silence nursing. I could never nurse in Public the baby would stop at every noise and look leaving me completely exposed 😂 then my milk would remain shooting out like a hose covering us all in milk.

Unfortunately I'm plus sized and haven't been able to latch my baby easy enough to make that work. Fortunately, I love the muslin swaddles. They've been super easy. I'll try them when I'm more certain he can latch without a lot of work.

I have one of these and it definitely was a game changer for sure!! Love it because people do unfortunately shame you or try and sexualize feeding your child.

My neighbor had a baby and she told me that the reason most of the time women cover up(especially in public) is so the baby doesn't get distracted and turn their head while eating. Don't assume it's just because they're doing it for others around them in public(however people ARE really gross about breastfeeding in public, and they shouldn't be)

I wish these items were available when my kid was a baby 17 years ago ... If they did exist, they weren't mainstream or easy to find. I would use a blanket and was always so stressed cuz I could never find one that was lightweight enough! My kid was born in the middle of a hot Florida summer, so trying to nurse her under a blanket in public in the Florida heat... 🥵 It was not fun. As soon as I could see her little face start sweating, I would end up taking the blanket off anyway.
The amount of genius products that are on the market now for mamas and babies is incredible!!

I personally cover up while nursing in public because I believe in modesty and I don’t care for anyone but my husband seeing my boobs. I think it’s important to consider the feelings of others. I don’t want to make a poor 12 year old boy(or girl lol) uncomfortable because I’ve whipped my boob out in public. I don’t think anybody really wants to see someone else’s exposed body parts while they’re eating out at a restaurant or somewhere. Even I feel awkward(even if we are both nursing our babies). Not because it’s gross, just because it’s incredibly personal.
That said, sometimes you just don’t have a cover and feeding my baby takes priority over my comfort and the comfort of anyone in the vicinity.

Anyone who finds breastfeeding sexual is just gross.

Breasts WERE made for both purposes. Song is songs speaks of that purpose in marriage, so women should care about who sees their breasts in public, one because of their own privacy and the potential for creeps out there, but also as a believer we need to be considerate of who is around us and being discreet in public. At home, around family is one thing - but strangers is totally different. It takes effort and sacrifice to honor God in this life, covering while breastfeeding is just one of those areas that we need to not be careless about in our faith life.
