Unless they bring back Caduceus from Div1, this will be my primary weapon in my combat medic builds. We just don't have many viable options for weaponry as dedicated support players.

I feel you need to adjust your playstyle with the Doctor Home. Sitting back and marking targets and having your DPS guys tear throw everything, knowing they can get 10% armor on kill. I suggest using a tank support build, I say tank because the med kit gives 10% of your armor, then your team can benefit from a bigger heal. Use could use Ongoing Directive too, this will give everyone 25% amp damage to everyone who kills a marked target.

It works with focus now. You can put out some serious damage. I like it with the mask that gives you healing if you take damage

If they didn’t force you to see through the scope it would’ve been much better and versatile

Is there any word on whether the Doctor Home will now yield an exotic component when deconstructed? I got some exotic caches from the Countdown vendor and got two Doctor Homes, but I'm holding off on deconstructing them until I find out for sure. I've wasted two or three Countdown exotic caches by breaking down the Doctor Home, only to receive nothing in exchange.

Im still waiting until the Deadeye set makes a return!!! +100% crit rate with all rifles and snipers but no headshot damage from division 1

ooo, this was happens to me on manhunt bounties. i was like wtf how come im using yellow jammer build but have armor like like a lot. so this weapons was like memento. i see i see.

To me the doctor home is great because o like doing damage and my friends are tanks and they dont regen much so this would give the whole team survivability without a healer

Late on this, but I just started running this with FI, Coyote, and Fox's Prayer (I think--been playing around with several builds lately). My classic heal build was just way overkill for heroics. Think I did 1 FI red core. Unbuffed CHC is around 30-40, I think CHD is 100-130, 3 Repair Skill mods. Running heal drone and rolly simply for autonomy (and I'm trying to justify its existence). Throw the drone on my most aggressive teammate, sit in the back and tag away. Most of my friends don't usually need much healing and this is enough to let them play more aggressively, along with some pretty strong buffs. Chem would definitely be stronger than rolly, but I suck with it and it would cut down on my Dr Home use, which is the whole point of the build--and does surprisingly solid damage. I just wish Doctor Home had the C79 or ACOG style scope instead of the 8x and worked with skill tiers like the Capacitor. Overall, this build let's me be a LOT more mobile than the classic BTSU Hive build while still buffing (just Coyote instead of Opportunistic) as well as giving more damage.

Question is can you prime multiple targets and finish them off with an ar and get the heals?

Only thing I do not like about the Doctor rifle, is its Bright Red and White. Wish there was a more Tactical colour shader for it.

It's a shame that they didn't add in at least a small amount of bonus armor, maybe 10-20%. Seems like a lot of the potential healing from this would be wasted as overhealing unless your entire group is taking consistent, light, damage

Here's a suggestion - run Dr. Home with Negotiator's Dilemma. I haven't personally tested if the Gearset talent actually spreads the mark or not, but it's still a strong option regardless since it grants large boosts to crit chance and damage, the 2 stats Rifles want.

In theory though ND should allow you to quickly spread marks and deal a tonne of group damage effectively creating a DPS-Healer hybrid.

I still wouldn't dare use the gun on Legendary missions because enemies have too much armor and health for it to be reliable.

Also, you could consider running Survivalist to gain access to the mender seekers which I personally LOVE because while the heals from it are smaller than all the other skills, it is a completely hands-off ability (the AI for it is astonishingly good) and it actually pulses friendlies quite frequently.

It's a notoriously underrated and underused skill, I run it all the time on my dedicated Healer build.

Doctor home talent I thought was better with the old talent in raids but in a group a 4 roaming/missions it's better now .
Got to love ninja backpack it's awesome but I still like coyote mask better in a group of 4 or 8 but ninja is probably better for a solo build or if you have 4 or 5 brands on, need another backpack so I can mess around with builds on my mess around 2nd character 😁
