Harbor freight vertical horizontal metal cutting bandsaw

I have one of these saws and have been running it about a year. I use only bi-metal blades because the cheaper blades don't last very long. If your not in a hurry it's fine and would work well for most people.

Is that 6061 aluminum round bar? If so, what was the diameter of the round bar and did the saw do the job?
