Today I had some fun using the Zhiyun Smooth Q Tracking Function to follow different items. I put together a quick how to video to show you the best ways to use the follow me /tracking mode on the Zhiyun Play App for Apple and Android. I found that the software worked best with a high contrast item on. So wearing Sunglasses like Casey Neistat worked in my favor when using the Gimbal’s tracking function with one person. Lots of dark to confuse the tracking - shadows, dark clothing, but I do appreciate the video. Now I know how to use it.

Heyo! Wondering if anyone has advice—Object tracking seems to work mostly on mine, however the tilt seems to be inverted. Whenever the tracked object moves to the top of the frame, for instance, the gimbal tilts the phone downward, the opposite way the object moved. Any tips?

Maybe u can help me I have an lg v20 android and the smooth 4 gimbal zy app don't work with my phone....I then bought an evo gimbal thinking it would work the app keep closing what do you suggest

Does the tracking work during FaceTime or zoom calls? there is any way to do it?

Are you using the apple or android app? The android app is supposed to be pretty bad - apple works better ("they" say). I use the android and the tracking works, but it will not record. I get a single still picture and all the audio, but the camera follows me around and says it is filming. The time lapse and moving time lapse are great, though. They are the only things I use the app for.

Smooth Q tracking is a joke for Android. It only works for IPhone
