Uganda Railways Corporation to evict encroachers

Encroachers on land belonging to the Uganda Railways Corporation could soon be forced to vacate when a six-month ultimatum expires.

The corporation said the land would be used to revamp railway transport in the country.

Over 4,000 people residing and working along the railway line have up to the end to September to vacate.

A confused govt indeed. Why should Uganda Land Board issue title on Uganda Railways Corp land? So annoying!!! Evict them all.

This is why the Country can't develop. I know what happened a civil servant gave out the titles for the land and now it's causing this mayhem. We need to wake up as a people and be patriotic in our own Country. If we can't do that then we will forever be stuck in our ways. It is a shame!!!
