3D Gritty Shadow Text Effect | Adobe Illustrator

In this tutorial, I'll show you how to make the 3D Gritty Shadow Text effect.
The process of making this effect is quite simple, but it might be a very CPU intensive process.
We will create a blended text and add some raster effects (photoshop effect) to it. Sometimes you have to wait for the effects to apply to the text, so be patient.

Does this effect make anybody elses computer load forever "rasterizing object" whenever you try to rotate or move it?

Amazing tutorial probably something on my end but god damn illustrator i wanna make fancy effects just wanted to know if anybody else is having this problem drives me nuts. makes editing impossible when it wont even let me move things around without stopping me before I even am finished with what im doing for a loading screen, I didn't see this annoying loading screen in the tutorial so its probably just me, but for the love of peter griffin WHY
