With Amendment 2 of AS/NZS 3000 coming into force in April 2023, the minimum standard of an RCD used in final sub-circuit applications has changed. As a retired contractor being out of the game quite a while I found this video to be most advantageous. I still do work for relations and friends sporadically and not doing it full time you get behind the 8 ball very quickly. Thanks to everyone involved, great job.

Would a transportable building (donger) with AC type RCD/RCBOs fitted in the switchboard be classed as a new project when being installed onsite?

How I get notified if any changes happened in the rule book?!

i have come across switchboards with (RED) telecomm earth connecting blocks fitted, with all the functional earths connected to it, & when i inspected it found that not all the cables were punched down to the bottom of the connection block. & all so some had broken plastic between the connection points. are these. blocks permitted. to be used.
i have tried but i have not been able to check if, there was a connection between the rcd, through the functional earth cable, The connection block & the earth bar.
