Lightning / Storm Chasing In A Plane - Miami, FL Thunderstorms 2015

*Demo- Not For Broadcast*- During a week long trip to South Florida, which focused on lightning and thunderstorm photography, our friend and Pilot Tim Millar rented a Cessna 172 and took us up to do some lightning chasing from the air! We flew around developing thunderstorms over the Miami, Homestead, and North Key Largo area. This footage will be a part of an upcoming episode of "Storm Hunters" on The Weather Network in Canada.

Hi Scott awesome video of flying and a awesome thunderstorm last Sunday and Monday I saw lightning and thunder but I didn't make a video of it but I made a video of the clouds as now the summer is over I hop make more videos of the stormy weather in the UK TC Scott

Awesomed video, Scott...both the takeoff and the landing..((I felt like I was flying inside that Cessna with you three !!!))..and in between..nice CBs and CGs you am not surprized those Tshowers you videotaped were drifting from E to W....onto Miami... BTW...next thunder chance for us is likely during later THU 9/10(('''Gas Prices' Day'''...as in the 9/10ths seen at all gas pimps))..and tomorrow..9/8th...3 years to the day of the 9/8/12-Breezy Point tornado that we all remember... And Scott...TYSVM for liking my 7/28/15- and 8/4/15-big big Tstorm videos...sorry I kept ''siphoning all of the Tstorms from you'' but hope this THU 9/10..you and only YOU get them..!

Today is the ****FIFTH anniversary**** of that huge huge macroburst 9/16/10-Tstorm..and hence..your own AWESOMED Tstorm video you made and posted..all from the NYC/surrounding years ago already...amazing, eh, Scott?? Seems like the NYC area hasn't had much good Tstomrs THIS 2015-Tstorm season...and the reason why? It seems like I've been inadvertanly siphoning them all away from the NYC area....hence my own BIG Tstorms here in southern RI of 7/1/15, 7/15/15, 7/27/15, my severe Tstorms of 7/28/15 and again on 8/4/15...((8/4/15 was also the very same day you headed down to Miami to capture THIS awesome video, Scott...))

Update 10/22/15 710am all postings here...please be sure to check out my 10/16/15-morning Tstorm videos..I got a nice black sky above the fall folliage...a nice nice SHELF CLOUD...also dark weird, golden clouds...some decent lightning and thunder as the Tstorm passed finally a nice radar image of the precipt and lightning and AAMOF...my place could yet get more thunder this THU 10/22/15-evening.... especially east of I-95...and I shall BE ready...!
