Turning off the Image scaling in the nvidia 3d settings fixed the weird resolution and frame rate options I had before

Right click on mouse> show more options>nvidia control panel>change resolution

just so you all know you can go in your pc settings and go to display and change your hz there i did mine from 60 to 240.

Even when I set 120hz and it passes the test every time, after closing it is stuck at 60hz

Ummmm, the problem is you’re using the hdmi and not the DisplayPort cable. HDMI has a bandwidth limit that doesn’t all above 144 at 2k resolution. No need to do any hacking, just change your cable.

i have a 180hz monitor and its stuck at 100hz when i tried doing your method it said that it was successful but it was still at 100hz and there was no option for 180hz can you help?

guys if someone have problem like i did just go on settings of your monitor and put display port form 1.1 on 1.2 and after that u will get option for 165hz, i just have 1 dp and i had 2 options to chose
