[OUTDATED] How to mount an ISO file on the Steam Deck

For anyone trying to mount an ISO from their SD card you can't really. I "unzip" the ISO before I load it onto my SD card then you can just run the setup file as you normally would.

The truth is I didn't think it was functional but it was very useful, 100% real this helped me solve the biggest problem I had when downloading rooms for the stea deck

If it doesn't mount, try putting the ISO in the internal SSD.

If it doesn't Unmount after doing it on the Devices, Unmount it again right clicking the file, it should now Unmount.

I found that, when I try mounting the ISO from a external SSD drive it will not appear in the Dolphin file explorer. But when I transferred the ISO to the internal SSD (ex. Downloads) and mount it, it will work as expected.

it doesnt show on discover, as of now...i was able to install this last month but now it's missing

Ok why am I able mount the iso again under “devices” even though the original iso has been deleted!?!? I really don’t understand Linux

Your guides have been great, unfortunately my USB hard drive shows up but none of the ISOs I mount appear in devices. But, when I try to eject by USB hard drive, it won't let me unless I unmount the selected ISO first, so it is doing something, just can't see it.

Dude how delete unmount iso? When i unmount the iso and delete it is still in menu. Where it is? I can;t find path of this mount after i delete the original iso from download folder. Is still exist in hard drive but i can't delete it because program make copy of my iso and i don't know where is it. It's look like diferent partition on the left side when i have partiton menu
