After defiantly rejecting calls for his resignation, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Thursday that he would step down as leader of his party, which will eventually see him removed from the country's top job. "It is clearly now the will of the parliamentary Conservative Party that there should be a new leader of that party, and therefore a new PM," Johnson said, thanking voters for what he called an, "incredible mandate."
