Modi Remains Top Choice For PM, Rahul Gandhi Climbs Preference Ladder: Survey | Mood Of The Nation

Two months after the 2024 Lok Sabha election returned Prime Minister Narendra Modi to office for a historic third term, an India Today’s Mood of the Nation survey shows that he remains the overwhelming choice for the post, while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has more people now favouring him for the PM's post than the last survey in February or the one in August 2023.

The recent survey shows that 49.1% of the respondents prefer PM Modi as the Prime Minister while Rahul Gandhi is the choice of 22.4% of the people.

In February, 55% of people preferred Modi as the PM, and 14% favoured Rahul.
