Hi Carmine, i use Brave browser and never have mid stream advertisements. On 3 different computers, Windows 7 and Windows 10. I discovered this by accident. Not running any known ad blockers, just Brave.

Thanks for the tips, so why wasn't my windows getting the pihole? Some idiot, (me) set the networking to manual! Opps

It may just be my pihole configuration, its block list is over a million entries, but for me in chrome the youtube ads play for a second or two then it goes right into the video I wanted to watch.
Twitch's ads however, play all the way through still. 😂
