As a Canon user, once Olympus user in my film days, nearly moved over to Sony because of their great mirrorless system, and envied some of the great Nikon lenses (would love a Canon PF500mm f5.6), I’d just like to say this is great news. The camera industry needs a strong Nikon.

I made a contribution to Nikon last fiscal year and expect to make a contribution to this fiscal year.

The good news is the major players in the camera industry are profitable which means they all have a good grip on where they need to go as the market changes.

Buying the Z7II and 50 f1.2 seems like helped Nikon and it also helped me to make great pics, lovely!

My brother in law just posted images that were outstanding. All of them taken on his top end Samsung phone. It’s vitally important that Nikon operate within its niche at a profit. We absolutely need these companies to survive in order to push innovation for those of us who still create with cameras.

I also "helped" Nikon. I have Z7, Z6, Z 24-70 f2.8, Z 70-200 f2.8, Z 24-50 f4-6.3 and the Z 1.4 TC. Love all of it. :)

Concerning the Nikon Z fc, when I go to preorder this, only the black one is available. If I choose brown or any other color, it just defaults back to black at the check out screen.
