While everyone knows Croc was originally a Yoshi game there is something I noticed a while ago that seems to be a leftover from then. In one of the Ice worlds you'll notice the skybox for some reason has mushrooms and castles in it (10:03) You know, almost like it's some sort of.. Mushroom Kingdom?

Congratulations for mastering for this games for croc 1. I’ve mastered for long hours and I’ve died so many times In my first account last year. And this year 2025 my second account I’ve completed with softcore account I’ll don’t this accounts again.

Retro achievements offers a mode where you can earn achievements again. So if you ever forget to record an achievement I'd recommend turning that on! Then we'll never know you forgot ;) hahaha

Time trials were actually pretty easy for me, no real complaints.
My only issue was how Croc sometimes has a weird jump input delay so when i think i stand at the edge to make a jump i end up walking off the ledge instead.
Never had this on the PC version but PS1 is superior anyway because more music.

In the world 3 mini games where you race the little ghost to the key. Picking up the crystals actualy makes the ghost faster while avoiding them slows the ghost down

not exactly, did you know the very first room in the game, those floating platforms near the gobbo that needs a staircase, also has a secret life pickup area? i didnt know this until i was 28 xD
i used to set up a macro to grind lives automatically for a few minutes, get to 99, then play.

the ghosts in the desert levels that follow a line of gems actually slow down when touching gems, so not collecting them is actually better for you.
the movable metal crates in the castle was alot of fun to mess with, i would try making spiral staircases.
i havent played in a long time but i still remember how to do he hover glitch, used alot in speedruns, lets you hover for a few seconds, great for cheesing some rooms.
