Just found this on Spotify tonight, using the "radio" feature. This song is 10/10. Their other stuff is just too slow and soft for me though, tbh. I wish they would make more songs like this. Catchy yet simple guitar, synth, coherent and repeating AND relatable lyrics/chorus while still maintaining their sound. This song is a BOP though. LOVE the music, LOVE the lyrics, and love how catchy it is, without sounding like everything else. Had it on repeat for hours. Just taught myself the chords.

I adore this song as it resonates with my own life. I lost the love of my life cause I did not treat her well (nothing abusive), just my personality disorder destroying every good part of my life. I found this song and the lyrics just made so much sense.

"Remembering my name but it don't sound the same" - I don't feel like I know myself anymore, I can remember my past self, but it seems like a totally different person.

"Then I think of you growing old and it breaks my heart" - She is now with someone new and knowing that she will grow old with this person and not me, breaks my heart.

"Darkness it comes and puts me in place
I'm a prisoner, babe, you know I can't escape" - I have a feeling that I can never escape my illness, it will control me and keep me imprisoned forever, lost in darkness.

"And it's day by day, it's all I can take of it
And it's day by day, it's all I can chase" - The only way the depression does not overwhelm me, is just living day by day, cause its really all I can take.

I could keep going, but thanks for writing such an amazing song! If you ever leave the US for a tour and happened to come by Denmark I will stand front row singing along and enjoying the show.
