Jaden is the character that heard "Wait I can have any number of monsters in my fusion deck?" and decided to make the most out of it.

Turns out the guy who showed up to a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament with a 2222 card deck was actually Jaden

Technically jaiden has a infinite extra deck at least because in the anime super polymerization can just straight up create new cards

I'd like to think that Jaden just put literally every HERO fusion card that he found in there just hording heroes in case he needs them for some weirdly specific tech

One thing that suprised me most in this video, is just how many of Jadens fusion cards were made into main deck cards in the actual game

Always loved that about Jaden. They chose a great gimmick to focus on for his deck. I never really cared about fusion monsters until the GX era.

the question of "how many fusion monsters can Jaden make?" can be answered by the japanese version of the graduation duel against Zane/Kaiser: "Judai, your potential is limitless"
Also In Duel Monster and GX, without the context of the card game, the duels gives the impression that you can fuse cards as you want, and the duel disks generate the monsters based on what you used.

The presentation of the info via the 3D charts was both genius and impressive! Fun stuff.

I think it's possible that Jaden switched up his extra deck as the series progressed, so the exact amount could be different at any given time

The thing is, Jaden doesn’t use an Extra Deck. He uses a Fusion Deck, which at the time had no limit to the number of cards you could play. We have also seen characters in 5D’s literally create new Synchros midgame, so chances are that Jaden might be doing the same and coming up with fusions on the spot.

It's pretty surprising that even after all these years, they still haven't created the missing fusions between the OG E-Heroes.

During the GX era, there is no restriction about the number of extra deck card.

They put the restriction, only 15 cards in Extra deck, when Synhcro Monster introduced - 5D era.

I'm a bit of a purist, so I would say the Masked HEROes should probably be counted separately? Or at least only counted alongside the Elemental HERO fusions, since manga Jaden is very different from anime Jaden in a lot of ways, including that he never created and later used Neo-Spacians. Manga Jaden did use a lot of anime E-HEROes though and, let's be honest, Anime Jaden would totally use Masked HEROes as well if he could. lol

I’ve always considered Jaden’s extra deck to be the monsters he can get out consistently, so this means all the E•HERO and Neos Contact fusions + Divine Neos & Wiseman. I don’t usually consider rainbow neos as part of it because he doesn’t really get to use it unless Jesse is there. Same with evil heroes, since they’re supreme king exclusive

4:43 Watching those E-HERO images attaching to each other is like those patterns in universe size videos that make it clear its larger than you think.

I don't think anime Jaden's extra deck should be mixed in with manga Jaden's extra deck. The manga has a totally different story from the anime with plot elements such as:

1. Jaden's E-HERO deck was given to him by a manga exclusive character named Koyo Hibiki. And a lot of the cards in this deck didn't show up in the anime, opening the gate for new E-HERO fusions such as Terra Firma, Inferno, and the six omni-HERO fusions.

2. Jaden modified the deck throughout the story, mainly adding in the Masked HEROes.

3. Similar to the Jaden vs Yugi duel in the anime, the GX manga had an epilogue-like story involving Jaden with Masked HEROes dueling Koyo Hibiki with E-HEROes. The story ends with Jaden summoning Contrast HERO Chaos (the ultimate Masked HERO monster that's technically not a Masked HERO) and Koyo Hibiki summoning Elemental HERO Core (the upgraded version of Terra Firma). And just like what happened to Neos and Slifer in the anime, the story ends with Chaos and Core facing each other with no declared winner.

Also, a little bit of trivia: Absolute Zero is said to be Koyo Hibiki's "ultimate HERO." That's probably why in the OCG/TCG, its summoning requirements are a bit different and it's actually a lot easier to summon compared to the other omni-HEROes.

How about Fusion monsters that we don’t have or potential elemental hero’s fusions that we are missing, like a fusion between avian and clayman, or sparkman and burtsinatrix, and even more, the potential is endless

I remember as a kid I had an elemental hero deck that was basically 1 of every card Jaden ever played (that I owned) and a MASSIVE extra deck with all the fusions.

It was unplayable dogshit because I added all the Neos and Evil heroes too, but it was so awesome

Actually wiseman was kinda remade as Elemental HERO Neos Kluger - Ghosts From the Past: The 2nd Haunting pack and he is a fusion.

According to the rules of the anime/manga, the size of the extra deck is infinite, so Judai/Jaden can have a couple of hundred fusions in the extra deck.
