I would rather live a difficult life with a lot to say than an easy one with nothing to say.

Songs like this force a feeling of nostalgia that hasn't happened yet it is beautiful in its way. I see this this as a reminder that we are all living in moments of time, similar to jumping from one memory to another, similar to islands stuck in time. Life is truly a gift, even though it can be tragic at times. Science can describe the physical world and describe why things work the way they do, but what makes something beautiful is truly in the eye of the beholder.

I truly love this version of this song because it is a reminder that I should cherish each day that I'm on this earth because whenever my time comes, I want to say that I have lived. That is why, "I'd rather be some place I want to be than some place I could have been."
