Tesla Fast Charging at Home w/ Dryer Plug - Quick Tip
Показать описание
How to charge a Tesla at home - In today's Tesla Quick Tip I show you how to fast charge your Tesla at home up to 21 miles per hour using a standard 220/240v dryer plug on a 30amp breaker. This will save you well over $1000 off of what it would cost to have an electrician install a Tesla Wall Charger.
Disclaimer: I'm not an electrician. If you're unsure about how to do something, I highly suggest contacting a certified electrician to take a look. This is especially true if you live in an older home. I'm also not going through drywall as there's already a cutout behind my dryer in my new construction as some regions might not consider it up to code to run through drywall. You also should adjust the amps to 80% of the 30AMP circuit on your Tesla charging screen down to (24 AMPS) so plug doesn't run hot or trip a circuit. I can't stress this enough, if you're unsure about ANYTHING, have a certified electrician take a look as any work you do is at your own risk. I also use a proper splitter so I'm never unplugging from the wall outlet.
