The IQ Panel 2 includes Wi-Fi and LTE radios that work together to create dual-path connectivity to the cloud. This technology is more than the traditional "failover" technology used by rubber button keypad security systems, it's true intelligent redundancy that allows the IQ Panel 2 to be more responsive, more connected, and more secure.
When your IQ Panel 2 communicates, it intelligently looks at both your LTE and Wi-Fi connections, analyzing them for speed and reliability. This process takes milliseconds and the IQ Panel 2 determines the most appropriate path based on the amount of data being sent and how important it is. Depending on the result, signals will be sent over Wi-Fi, LTE and in some cases both.
