💸 MAKING MONEY

Please note, some videos will include affiliate links, and our monthly sponsor will always be stated in the description.

We have a monthly sponsor to introduce new tools to you, ones that we've hand-picked. You can choose to explore our recommendation or not, it's up to you.

Keep Productive is a small team right now. Only Alice and Francesco. So please bear with us in the comments and expect a 48hr email turnaround.

📝 I GOT AN APP, REVIEW US!

Looking to get your app reviewed?!

My policy is simple. Let me know about the app on email or in Twitter DMs, and I'll take a look. Give me time to explore the tool, and I’ll get back to you about an honest review and whether it fits our content schedule here at Keep Productive.

WE DO NOT DO PAID REVIEWS.

We often take affiliate links/programmes so that if you decide to choose the tool, we get credit - but always give you information first and never push you down something not suitable for you based on an affiliate link.

We believe in long-term help here at Keep Productive.

Something I'm missing from this video is looking at how it integrates with various platforms. What's been mentioned here is the one wiki being able to search Dropbox and Google drive files and confluence+jira. Is that all? Do the other platforms not integrate at all? Do any of them integrate with Microsoft 365?

I'd also like to see a contrast to the free options. If only to make it clear what you're paying for.

But perhaps that's not suited to this 10 minute video

Which of the tools here would be best for integration and pricing to Microsoft Teams? Looking for up to 100 users within our business accessing this at a time.

Does anyone know how Zim compares to these?
I'd love to hear any advice or opinion on the matter.
Thank you :D

Am I the only one who doesn't like either of them? As a developer, I hate that I can't just type my notes in AsciiDoc, Markdown, LaTeX and then render them when finished. Some of them have import features, but never found one where I could just paste pieces of Markdown/AsciiDoc code. Also, I hate most of their UI design, it's always too white or too dark, nothing between... oh and almost always the oversized fonts, which I find harder to read then small fonts.
I think the classical Wikipedia has much better UI design and capabilities. Personally, I use VSCode to write my notes and sync them by Git - so far, I didn't find anything better.

Nice overall, but you asked about "our" needs... ...

So a personal/small team - 5 or fewer people - wiki to hold say, initially links to external info used in published and future blogs. Have additional notes added to the external text, publishing plan and historical note - and be able to add responses to comments on the served blogs. So used to otherwise track say "Lately" social media runs on your content... ... there you - nice "little" problem, next time the baby keeps you awake : )))) Have fun, be safe and enjoy!!
