Of 400 matches I got like 20 responses, 11 gave me a second response, 3 sent a 3rd message, 2 actual conversations. Both conversations ended when I asked if they like to read, and what their favorite genre of books was. At that point I realized that they only wanted validation, and I was no longer going to be a willing participant. Online people generally don't step into the real world so if you want an IRL connection you're going to have to find it in real life

It's just that the brain rot of media has effectively destroyed modern dating, especially tinder users, you don't get a relationship on tinder, you are lucky of you even get a friend there.. they go there just to feed the endless black hole of overstimulation they get from modernity, that's the way it is, and it's depressing.
