What's your Social Credit Score - let's dispel some myths

I get asked to describe this a lot and, the truth is, I've put off doing it because no one can tell me what it is - the reason no one can tell me is because... well, watch the video and you'll find out

In Malaysia if you have not paid your road tax for a year, or not settled a summons for an offence for certain period your drivers licence will be cancelled and you can only get it back after 1 year. After the 1 year, you need redo your driving licence from the start.
Which means all the hassle of passing tests and trainings etc to get new licence.
For people who think that China uses means like identification cards, credit cards, phone apps from the government and what nots to spy and monitor them, I can say is you better be careful what and how you use yours in your free democratic country, because they(your gov) won't even let you know they are using it on you.
Yes, you are monitored even if you withdraw money on an ATM. They know where and when. Here in our country, the new identification card has a sim in it, ofcourse they never tell you but there is a tracker in it. Reason why I haven't changed mine to the newer one.
Yes they use that info to know what you do, where you go, what you like or spend on. And presto strangely you always get approached by such marketers.

We live in a digital world, connected in every way. There's no way to avoid this unless you go hide somewhere in a remote jungle without all these gadgets.

Now that I learn it in proper detail, I think this is a better alternative to the traditional approach of PSA. This way, you can effectively discipline and persuade people to abide by the law, while also promote and encourage people to cultivate familial, civic and collective values (as being understood in Chinese tradition) and to apply them in their normal life as the norm😃🥰 I guess it's "too bad" in the Western eyes because China actually succeeded to apply this to the benefit of people's social and cultural needs!🤭🤭

In Canada, they also have a Social Credit Score system too. If you don't pay your parking or any bylaw tickets, you can't renew your car insurance. You want to drive, pay up or take the bus.

The 3th app is so inspiring, it should be adapt in all country, they are better than just a fines. A better way to rehabilitate some one mistake is to do social activity, and if you got positive score by doing social activity it will be rewarding and more attractive than just doing social activity from punishment. But if we can get free stuff from the points i would do that too even i was not doing any bad things.
