You didn’t account for how much the truck will lower once hooked to the trailer. You should hook the trailer up before taking the receiver measurement

Good info. But I needed a rise but when I measured like I was shown on video it told me I needed a drop of 2 inches. I need a rise to level camper and truck. Video does not take in the consideration of the weight of camper when put on hitch. Measurements are good if there is no trailer weight

Ok so what if the two numbers are almost exactly the same? My class A receiver measures 16" from ground to inside top of 2" reciever port. My tow dolly, at level, measures 16" to bottom of
